Katsuda's paper on Vela pulser has been accepted.

Dr. Katsuda and collaborators published a paper entitled "Suzaku detection of Diffuse Hard X-Ray Emission Outside Vela X" in Publications of Astronomical Society of Japan (available from http://arxiv.org/abs/1103.4872). Katsuda and collaborators observed the Vela pulsar wind nebula with Suzaku, and discovered that the X-ray-emitting nebula extends outside the radio-emitting nebula. This finding strongly suggests that distinct populations of relativistic electrons form the X-ray and radio nebulae. Also, Katsuda et al. gave a poster presentation about this topic at an international conference, Suzaku 2011 "Exploring the X-ray Universe: Suzaku and Beyond" (http://confcon.com/suzaku2011/), held at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (USA) during July 20-22 in 2011.
