PRAXyS Selected for Phase A !

Polarimetry for Relativistic Astrophysical X-ray Sources (PRAXyS) was selected for
Phase A by NASA headquarters on July 30, 2015. PRAXyS is the world first mission for
sensitive X-ray polarimetry with expected launch in 2020. After 11 months of concept
study (Phase A), one of three Phase A missions will be selected to proceed with
construction and launch. RIKEN is a Co-Investigator Institute of this mission, providing
some hardwares, simulation studies, and calibration techniques.
